Kevin Pillar, in the top of the 6th, with 2 on and 2 out, makes a spectacular diving catch, that in my opinion beats “The Catch” that happened on Jackie Robinson Day when he climbed the wall. He really is superman.

Returning to Toronto as a Cleveland Indian, Edwin Encarnacion was at the plate in the top of the 7th with runners on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs and Jason Grilli fans him with the high heat to end the inning. I love Eddie but seeing him strikeout was amazing.

Ryan Goins should not be underestimated. Period. He’s not just one of the best infielders in the majors, he’s got some good offense which he showed in the bottom of the 9th. With the score tied at 7, Goins comes through with a sharply hit single to right, sending Carrera home, walking off the Blue Jays 8-7.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Kevin Pillar has been performing like an MVP lately. This week alone, he made a catch that’ll for sure be recognized in the top 10 plays of the year, hit a walk off homer and became the American League leader in hits with 48. Applause necessary.

VIDEO OF THE WEEK

Kevin Pillar proved once again that he is in fact Superman making a spectacular diving catch on May 8th vs the Indians. In my opinion, it’s better than “The Catch” Pillar is most famously known for. Check it out!
